Our next film which is currently in production tells the stories of Denbigh’s historical characters:

It will include Catrin o Ferain, Dr Johnson and Mrs Thrales visit to North Wales; Beatrix Potter; Dr Evan Pierce, Twm o’r Nant and many others!

Recent Film: Prestatyn and Meliden’s Heritage was screened at the Alive Church, Victoria Road., Prestatyn on Wed. 5th July pm. An excellent evening with over 180 in attendance! The  showing  at Theatr Twm o’r Nant , Denbigh by The Denbigh Film Club on Friday 15th September at 7.30 pm. was another great success!

The film was well received at Ty Newydd Church, Rhyl on Wednesday 25th October. Watch out for next showing!

The film features the Roman Bath House, the Coming of the Railway, sea tragedies, including the loss of the Ocean Monarch and the Lelia in the 1800’s, War time evacuees and much more! For further details phone: 01745 812551

Abergele Rail Disaster 1868

We continue to produce films to tell the story of local historical events and local people who have a story to tell. We produced a film: “The Fate of the Irish Mail” This tells the story of the Abergele Rail Disaster of 1868. Local people came together to help tell this story. It has been seen by over 2000 people at a variety of venues. This year it is the 150th anniversary of the disaster. A commemorative  service was held on the 20th August at St. Michael’s Church, Abergele, followed by a showing of the Please contact me if you wish me to show the film to your local group or organisation.There is now a DVD available. Tel; 01745 853615

We recently completed our next film to tell the story of Bernard Willems, artist and WW2 survivor during the occupation of Belgium. He was arrested 22 times by the Gestapo and lived to tell the tale! Here is a film clip of a re-enactment of Belgian refugees which Bernard told us about. A terrifying event!

The Bernard Willems film has now been completed and has been shown at Denbigh and the Scala Cinema, Prestatyn. A DVD of the film is now available. Please contact me for further details. 01745 812551
